Telling Their Stories

Gateway Georgia Avenue Revitalization Corporation and the Gateway Heliport Gallery, a launch pad for the arts and community, is proud to announce the grand opening of TELLING THEIR STORIES, an exhibition of book art.
The artists included in this exhibit come from various artistic backgrounds, resulting in a unique exhibit where the works of visual artists sit alongside works of writers and orators. The themes expressed in the work relate to core principles, influences and or events that have shaped the artists as an individual. Examples include: Interconnectedness, Geography and its role in defining who we are, Guardian angels and Self-protection.

The opening reception will include foods related to the artist’s pieces, story telling music and an interactive arts opportunity for gallery visitors to tell their stories.
