9 - MOCA DC Fund Raiser - March to June - these events will be fundraisers, so donations - cash, artwork, ??? are welcome
a - Membership - if you aren't a member now, or have not paid dues prior to January of 2006, then a membership would be great - it's only $40 Regular, $30 for Seniors and $20 for Students - good for 1 year. Benefits include a reduced hanging fee for exhibits - ($40 nonmember - $25 member, $20 Senior, $15 Student) - you can probably enter at least 6 to 8 a year, depending on subject of show. And if you send in a membership now, but don't enter anything in the current exhibit, your membership period won't begin until you hang something in a show. For those non-artists, then, a membership now could conceivably be a lifetime membership. Other benefits include to have your work on the internet on the MOCA DC artists section, now under development. Will put headshot of the artist, brief bio and 2 images of work, plus a link to your website. If you don't have a website, then will add 2 extra examples of your work. This is in development now, and will begin to appear on the MOCA DC website in March.

b - Donations - cash - Any cash donations are welcome - bless you very much - make checks payable to MOCA DC - we now have a business checking account, and the gallery is both incorporated in DC and is an IRS certified 501 (c) (3) nonprofit corporation. Certificate of Good Standing available, as is all other paperwork to support this.

c - Donations - artwork - I am preparing a section of the gallery to hold all artwork donated for a fundraiser - so donate some stuff, look at some to buy, or just do something crazy to help fund the galleries expenses.
