“Say Whaaat!”


The Mason Jar and Kickballers present Washington D.C.’s first exhibit/charity auction to feature artwork on toys. The exhibit is called
“Say Whaaat!” and will be on display from December 18th – January 25. at the ArtWhino gallery located on 717 N. Saint Asaph St. in Alexandria VA. All of the customized toys by participating artists will be auctioned on eBay in order to generate proceeds
for charity and to benefit the Capital Area Food Bank. The artist lineup for the “Say Whaaat!” exhibit now exceeds 100 artists & there will be more than 150 customized toys; all contributing positively to a charity, which focuses on feeding the needy.

This exhibit will be the first ever in D.C. to feature the vinyl toy culture, an already established and ever increasing in popularity
worldwide phenomenon. The vinyl toy culture is a continuous source of innovation, avant-garde art and cutting edge ideals, which are
manifested on three-dimensional figures. Through the “Say Whaaat” exhibit the D.C. area will be exposed to this new and innovative
genre of art. This exhibit will allow Washington DC. area artists and invited artists to participate in an exhibit on toys as well as charitably
donate their work for auction on eBay.

The “Say Whaaat!” exhibit is organized by the Mason Jar; founded by Daniel Barojas, it focuses on diverse, creative projects, which
generate proceeds for various charities. The Mason Jar boasts a slogan of “Consciousness & Caring through Creativity” & through the
“Say Whaaat” exhibit/auction The Mason Jar invites the Washington D.C. area to take the opportunity to contribute locally & share in that
same ideal.
