EXHIBITIONS at AAC

Fall Solos 2006 continues through November 25
Works by six contemporary Mid-Atlantic artists. Working in a wide range of media, from traditional to alternative, each artist is exhibiting in a separate gallery.

Insight Out continues through March 24
Curated by Twylene Moyer, this Sculpture on the Grounds exhibition features the work of three sculptors exploring the relationship of art to nature.

Eye On Arlington: Robert Cwiok: Recent Work, paintings and collage.

Resident Studio Artist in Wyatt Gallery: Sabyna Sterrett, Segments, drawing, painting, and mixed media.

El dia de los muertos. Our annual interactive installation is back for a third year. Members of the community are invited to take part in this installation which celebrates the memory of deceased loved ones through mementos, letters, and photographs left by visitors.

FORUM DISCUSSION: ART, NATURE, AND URBAN SPRAWL
Have you seen the new art outside our building? As part of the inaugural exhibition for our new temporary outdoor site-work exhibition series, SCULPTURE ON THE GROUNDS curator Twylene Moyer will lead a forum discussion about Insight Out with artists Laura Amussen, Jackson Martin and Renee Rendine speaking about their works. As well, Greg Zell, the Natural Resource Specialist from the Long Branch Nature Center will offer a compelling overview regarding natural resources in the Arlington area.

Located in the historic Maury School, it holds exhibitions, rents studio spaces, and conducts educational programs for all ages. Normal public hours are Tuesday through Saturday, from 11 am to 5 pm.
